HOW STEM CELL THERAPY WORKS
Stem cells have the unique ability to “differentiate,” meaning they can transform into any type of cell found in your body including, but not limited to, ligament, tendon, cartilage, muscle and organ tissues. In regenerative medicine, stem cells are used to rebuild healthy tissue in your body where degeneration or injury has occurred, enabling an accelerated and natural healing process.
OUR APPROACH
Utah Pain Relief Institute clinics utilize different types of stems cells and a variety of methods to administer the cells. Each treatment is customized to the individual patient, taking into account many factors related to overall health and the ailment being treated. Other stem cell clinics use one type of stem cell exclusively. This is simply not the case. Our physicians understand when and how to use a variety of regenerative medicine techniques and applications. We’ll discuss a handful of these scenarios at the educational seminar.
Utah Pain Relief Institute is committed to using the best practices in regenerative medicine as stem cell therapies become an emerging and validated medical treatment in the United States. This is demonstrated by practicing the approved protocols for stem cell therapies that have been established under the International Cell Surgical Society’s Institutional Review Board.
An Institutional Review Board (IRB) is a group of doctors, scientists, lawyers and other industry professionals that review the science, safety ethics and effectiveness behind every protocol.
